(More customer reviews)I own an old 1964 Ford Falcon convertible with a 302cid 4V V8,it has a flat tappet(non-roller lifter) hydraulic cam in it. Now that the Federal Government and EPA have mandated reducing and eliminating the anti-wear additive Zinc dialkyldithiophosphates (often referred to as ZDDP) from our motor oils this product gives me peace of mind that I can enjoy my old cars with out worrying about camshaft and lifter failures caused by new motor oil that is not meant for older cars anymore. Even the Shell Rottella 15w-40 diesal oil has reduced ZDDP levels now. ZDDP is supposedly reported to build up in the catalytic converters causing them to fail.
