(More customer reviews)I have 2000 Subaru Outback 2.5l w. 130,000 miles. These engines have a known problem with poor head gasket sealing. It had an internal coolant leak into the #2 cylinder and a slow leak in the heater core. I was losing around a quart of coolant every week. After sitting cold overnight, I'd have a hard miss on #2 and a flashing check engine light (CEL) for several minutes until the spark plug dried out enough to start firing.
I'm not a big fan of "chemical" fixes for mechanical problems, but I thought that I'd give K-Seal a try. I poured it into the radiator, topped off the coolant and went for a 30 minute drive to get the engine hot. The next morning I had no missing or antifreeze smell from the heater. I reset the CEL and after almost a month, I've had no further problems with losing coolant. I'm impressed, this stuff works as advertised!

(More customer reviews)I should have known, this thing cannot work, but I bought it anyway.
The wrench is on the side of the filter, so when you turn, it only compresses the filter more, to the point of deforming it.
So the torque applied to the wrench is only marginally transfered to the filter itself, because the filter's axle and the wrench's are not aligned.
The only good thing about it is that once the oil filter has been completely deformed, it is much easier to untie it with pliers.

Super Siphon w/ 6' Siphon Hose - TWO for 16.95 Review

(More customer reviews)I was looking for a siphon hose for fuel transfer. Sucking on a hose to transfer fuels with nasty ingredients is something I would like to avoid. The Super Siphon seemed like a good idea and the price seemed reasonable.
The units arrived in good order. It consists of a hose made of good quality materials and a check valve that allows one way fluid flow. I placed the hose in the tank and shook as per instructions. Sure enough the fuel began filling the hose. Way cool, this thing might actually work!
Once the hose filled to the point siphoning could begin I stopped shaking the valve. Siphoning continued for a very short time then stopped. Several attempts with both units yielded the same results.

I took the hose and put it in a clear container filled with water to see what was happening. This the check valve does a good job of filling the hose once siphoning occurs the valve has trouble staying open. When the valve restricts flow siphon action slows then ceases.
A good idea marred by poor quality valve.

Online has a lot more options and since my wife uses Amazon a lot, she bought one from here which was easy us. There are lots of other online shops so I'd suggest for anyone looking to replace their RV faucets, to shop around and compare. Depending on what you're looking for, it might makes sense to buy elsewhere online. But our case, the styles we were looking for were all on Amazon. The finish on this faucet is great! My wife showed me some other oil bronze finishes from several other faucets which looked nice but she went with the Satin Nickel. Great looking and a real sturdy construction. Replacing it in my RV was pretty easy too (my wife shops and I install, go figure). Anyway, a great looking faucet. Price was reasonable.

Then close off the suction valve and check the vacuum gauge for leaks. Remove the air supply hose and connect the refill hose and insert into a bottle of antifreeze and open the suction valve and watch the system fill in seconds. Note: don't let the bottle empty completely and allow air to get into the system there by defeating the purpose. Close off the suction valve as the fluid nears the bottom, insert hose in new bottle, and open the valve and finishing filling. That's it!

Multi use great product overall. It does not have the strong odor that most leather conditioners have. I apply this once a month to my black car seats and it almost brings it back to life especially those folds on the seats that wrinkle up too much and appear to "lose" color.
Just remember to use some extra microfiber towels to dry the conditioner off, you don't want to be flying off your seat every time you brake! :)
I also use this sometimes on my leather jackets and a bit on my formal shoes too!

(More customer reviews)I have a '92 Ford F-150 4.9L I6 with 135K on it. The idle was a little rough and the power was a little lack-luster, but that's really what I expected from a 13-year old truck. After a while, I started getting a knock that really impacted performance. The only way I could keep the knock at bay was to run 92 octane gas, which was really getting expensive. I went into the local auto parts store to look for some type of cleaner, when the employee said that Sea Foam would solve all my problems and told me that I could get my money back if it didn't. Very skeptical of his claims, I bought it anyhow to give it a try. With the engine hot I put the first 1/3 of the can into the large brake booster vacuum line slowly at first, then sucked as much in as quickly as possible until the engine stalled. I replaced the vacuum line and waited for about 15 minutes and started it up. It started a little hard at first being flooded with the Sea Foam, but while revving the gas, it soon ran very smooth and started to smoke like that old movie "Uncle Buck". I made an unbelievable smoke screen that literally shut down Beach Blvd on the MS Gulf Coast for about five minutes! The motor in the old Ford suddenly began to idle perfectly and throttle response was amazing. I then added 1/3 of the can to the oil fill hole in the valve cover and the rest in the gas tank (as instructed on the can). Within about 10 minutes all the lifters were silent and the motor ran as perfect and as powerful as it did the day that it rolled off the assembly line! I now run it on 87 octane gas with no knock whatsoever, so the savings at the pump has paid for the can of Sea Foam many times over. After cleaning all the carbon out of the motor with Sea Foam, the only thing that smokes now are the tires!
