Edelbrock 2101 Performer Intake Manifold Review

Edelbrock 2101 Performer Intake Manifold
Average Reviews:

No problems at all with the product, however I paid a considerably higher amount for Overnight shipping, on a Thursday afternoon, (before 3:00PM) and the shipper sent it Standard Ground. It showed up the following Monday, at 5:30PM. I could have really used that $40.00, and put it towards something else. I hate getting ripped off. The seller could have offered me a bit of my money back, but instead they kept it.

The Edelbrock Performer EGR (Electronic Gas Recirculation) Intake Manifolds are dual-plane, low-rise intake manifolds with a 180 degree firing order and patented runner design. This patented design greatly improves torque over a wide RPM range for excellent throttle response, especially off-idle through the mid-range.The intake manifold directs the air or air-fuel mixture from the throttle body to the intake ports in the cylinder head. The flow typically proceeds from the throttle body into a chamber called the plenum, which in turn feeds individual tubes, called runners, leading to each intake port.It accepts late model waterneck, air-conditioning, alternator and H.E.I.(Heat Energy Ignition).

Blendzall EA/GOLD LABEL GALLON 485 GAL Review

Blendzall EA/GOLD LABEL GALLON 485 GAL
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I am the 2nd reviewer & Amazon is an unlikely place to find Blendzall, I bought 4 gallons online for $23.00 per gal. You'll need to Google for Blendzall and check pricing with vendors to get the best deal. Seems like prices have gone up.
The Pros: As for the product it simply is outstanding and does things that are noticeable. Number 1, my Kawasaki Concours 14 requires premium. In winter, gas formulas are changed and that is immediately noticeable. 485 smooths out the engine and quiets the motor. Either its lubricating or allowing the engine to perform at its peak, not sure but its noticed immediately. Number 2, there is more power delivered (and I am not just cranking the throttle), the throttle response is crisper as well. Number 3, if your bike sits for awhile, Blendzall acts as a fuel stabilizer. Number 4, the smell is intoxicating...but that's subjective. I prefer my carcinogens smelling good!
The Cons: #1You'll need to carefully pour/measure to get the correct ratio of mix to your tank. ~I take a plastic container, calculate how many ounces I need, pour WATER in the container, mark the level with a sharpie. (yes I throw out the water and dry the cup) Each time I add Blendzall, I pour to the marked line and use a funnel to add to the tank~
#2 You'll want to use it all the time. At most run it on every other tank. I generally run it once a month.
#3 Carry a supply with you on the road is possible, but you must use HDPE-2 type plastic or succumb to the wrath of the environmental gods. In other words, using an empty Rubbing Alcohol bottle works perfectly well, zip-loc bag to be extra safe!
I am not a advocate of fuel additives, my recommendation came from my brother who spent decades in motorcycle racing. Based on that I tried it, and based on the experience I had with Blendzall 485, I recommend it.

PROCOMP DUAL 14" INCH ELECTRIC FAN W/ DERALE THERMOSTAT 16739 Review

PROCOMP DUAL 14 INCH ELECTRIC FAN W/ DERALE THERMOSTAT 16739
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
These fans are a good bargain, except for a couple of issues. First, the width of the two fans is not 27 3/4 inches. They were way too wide for my 30" radiator, even staggered. I'm going to have to put a 7 or 8 inch fan in with the one I was able to install. The only instructions on installation were for the wiring, nothing on the fans themselves. Three stars at best.

Lucas 10020 Upper Cylinder Lubrication & Injector Cleaner 5.25 oz. Review

Lucas 10020 Upper Cylinder Lubrication and Injector Cleaner 5.25 oz.
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I put 2 bottles of this stuff in my tank the last time I filled up (I have a 32 gallon tank, so one bottle wasn't gonna cut it) and noticed improvements within a day or 2. I know it wasn't the gas cuz I filled up at Walmart. I've used lots of fuel system additives and cleaners and what-have-you and this one is the best by far! Don't be fooled by the more expensive ones and think you're getting what you pay for. Slick50, Gumout, Prestone, Seafoam, etc. are rip offs and make no difference whatsoever. This stuff is cheap AND it works. Buy it.

Finally a product designed by someone who actually uses this type of product. The nut on the end of the filter makes removing it a snap. Much easier than a filter wrench.

Mobil 1 44999 5w40 Turbo Diesel Truck - 1 gallon, Pack of 2 Review

Mobil 1 44999 5w40 Turbo Diesel Truck - 1 gallon, Pack of 2
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Mobil 1 is one of those cases where you get what you pay for:
Sure, it's considerably more expensive per quart than regular oil. But you can run it many more months / hours than the ''old fashioned'' brands. And for those of us in colder climates, the difference in starting performance when it's really cold is amazing: Mobil 1 fully synthetic oil (all varieties) thickens a LOT less as the temperature drops. I can still start my vehicle even when it is well below zero degrees F. without plugging in the soft-plug heater; and even my big diesel tractor will start without heating well below freezing (for those of you from southern states: You have NO IDEA how cold 35-40 degrees BELOW zero F. feels; and how regular oil pretty much turns to a near-solid when it gets that cold).

ZDDPPlus ZDDP Engine Oil Additive Zinc & Phosphorus 3pk Review

ZDDPPlus ZDDP Engine Oil Additive Zinc and Phosphorus 3pk
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I own an old 1964 Ford Falcon convertible with a 302cid 4V V8,it has a flat tappet(non-roller lifter) hydraulic cam in it. Now that the Federal Government and EPA have mandated reducing and eliminating the anti-wear additive Zinc dialkyldithiophosphates (often referred to as ZDDP) from our motor oils this product gives me peace of mind that I can enjoy my old cars with out worrying about camshaft and lifter failures caused by new motor oil that is not meant for older cars anymore. Even the Shell Rottella 15w-40 diesal oil has reduced ZDDP levels now. ZDDP is supposedly reported to build up in the catalytic converters causing them to fail. K&N HP-1010 Oil Filter Review

KandN HP-1010 Oil Filter
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I purchase this oil filter for infiniti M45 and infiniti G35 and have used them on the civic Si, Rx-8, and nissan 95 240sx with a sr20det s14 VTC type. I keep them around because they work on a plethora of engines: honda K20/24 & J30 V6, Rx-8's rotary, Nissan S14 SR20det, VQ35/37/40, VK45, VR38DETT, mitsubishi 4b11 (evo X) and 4g63(evo 8/9/ eclipse) and many more.
The nut is a life saver in tight spaces, and especially on the new 2006+ civics Si which have a very tight and confined installation space. As for filtering i've taken an old one apart and noted the filter media is very high quality i'd say as good or maybe better than most oem filters.
I recommend it, it's a good filter just to keep around/ have since it works on just about anything my friends have.
