K&N HP-2006 Oil Filter Review

(More customer reviews)I have been using K&N since i purchased my car last April. I was using pennzoil ultra platinum synthetic with them and averaging about 67-7500 until 10% oil life left. Then I went to royal purple for a one change and got 8700 until the 10%. Then I switched to Amsoil 5W-30 Fully Syn, my last change was almost 11k ago and still have 22% left. With all these oils I used this oil filter. And I know amazon does not have this type of Amsoil, and it is Pri$ey stuff. If you love your car, and want to see it last though, Amsoil is the ONLY way with this type of oil filter. I still cant comprehend why people buy Fram.
Separate note: I put Amsoil fully syn tranny fluid in my car, and WOW, what an improvement in the flow of the transmission. I was averaging 24.7mpg per 1000mi in my car before amsoil products. Same type of test over 1000mi with amsoil, 25.8mpg. Now that is with a Medium Foot. A heavy foot will be lucky to get 22 mpg out of it. A light one, maybe even 27. Also, I used the K&N HP2006 filter for oil. Hastings metal tranny filter.
Like I said, you WILL spend more, but it will MORE than pay for itself in the life of your engine/car. I am by no means a mechanic, just someone who cares how their car looks and performs.
My car is a 2008 Pontiac G6 GT 3.5L V6.
