(More customer reviews)I have been using Gun Scrubber(not the synthetic safe) on my guns to clean my gun when I don't feel like taking my gun apart to clean it. It is great except that it makes my Hogue grip covers soft and gummy. So I decided to try this one to see if it can accomplish the same effect without damaging the hogue grips.
It is not like gun scrubber. It does not blast the dirt away, and it also does not strip the gun of all oil. It is very similar to Break Free CLP. I squirt it on the barrel and run the Bore snake through it and it does remove the dirt. I sprayed it on the exterior of the gun, and the action and wiped it down. It is not as oily as Break Free so it is easier to wipe it off. But you still need to disassemble your gun as you normally would.
If you are looking for a Gun cleaner that is easier to apply than Break Free CLP, this is it.
