ZMAX Total Engine & Fuel Kit with BONUS Transmission product Review

ZMAX Total Engine and Fuel Kit with BONUS Transmission product
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have used this product over the past few years in most of my vehicles and seems to increase mileage as stated especially on long trips (some will call it "snake oil and if it worked the manufacturers and dealers would use it...blah blah blah), but it works for me. I especially liked the transmission product, really makes the car/suv shift nice. The stuff works great in the lawn mower too, runs noticeably smoother.

Blendzall EA/GOLD LABEL GALLON 485 GAL Review

Blendzall EA/GOLD LABEL GALLON 485 GAL
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I am the 2nd reviewer & Amazon is an unlikely place to find Blendzall, I bought 4 gallons online for $23.00 per gal. You'll need to Google for Blendzall and check pricing with vendors to get the best deal. Seems like prices have gone up.
The Pros: As for the product it simply is outstanding and does things that are noticeable. Number 1, my Kawasaki Concours 14 requires premium. In winter, gas formulas are changed and that is immediately noticeable. 485 smooths out the engine and quiets the motor. Either its lubricating or allowing the engine to perform at its peak, not sure but its noticed immediately. Number 2, there is more power delivered (and I am not just cranking the throttle), the throttle response is crisper as well. Number 3, if your bike sits for awhile, Blendzall acts as a fuel stabilizer. Number 4, the smell is intoxicating...but that's subjective. I prefer my carcinogens smelling good!
The Cons: #1You'll need to carefully pour/measure to get the correct ratio of mix to your tank. ~I take a plastic container, calculate how many ounces I need, pour WATER in the container, mark the level with a sharpie. (yes I throw out the water and dry the cup) Each time I add Blendzall, I pour to the marked line and use a funnel to add to the tank~
#2 You'll want to use it all the time. At most run it on every other tank. I generally run it once a month.
#3 Carry a supply with you on the road is possible, but you must use HDPE-2 type plastic or succumb to the wrath of the environmental gods. In other words, using an empty Rubbing Alcohol bottle works perfectly well, zip-loc bag to be extra safe!
I am not a advocate of fuel additives, my recommendation came from my brother who spent decades in motorcycle racing. Based on that I tried it, and based on the experience I had with Blendzall 485, I recommend it.

GatorSkin 23024 Gator Skin Nitrile Glove - Large (100 per bx) Review

GatorSkin 23024 Gator Skin Nitrile Glove - Large (100 per bx)
Average Reviews:

I bought these to use in the mechanical shop at my ranch. Lots of grease, oil, etc when servicing tractors, etc. These work real well to keep the hands clean and they are as durable as one would expect - much more durable than the standard latex glove.
I have not had any issues with tearing or leakage through the gloves. Gripping small screws, etc is not a probelm and what you would expect, not as perfect as your bare hands, but better than thick gloves. Fit is good for the average size hand.

I use Seafoam on my Honda CBR 1100XX at least twice a year. At the begining of the riding season, in April, to clean out my fuel lines and fuel injectors. And again at the year's end when I put the bike away for the Winter. It prevents the fuel from gumming up the FI and fuel lines while the bike is not in use. A great product.

MOTOR TREATMENT MULTI-USE -- 16 OZ. Review

MOTOR TREATMENT MULTI-USE -- 16 OZ.
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have a '92 Ford F-150 4.9L I6 with 135K on it. The idle was a little rough and the power was a little lack-luster, but that's really what I expected from a 13-year old truck. After a while, I started getting a knock that really impacted performance. The only way I could keep the knock at bay was to run 92 octane gas, which was really getting expensive. I went into the local auto parts store to look for some type of cleaner, when the employee said that Sea Foam would solve all my problems and told me that I could get my money back if it didn't. Very skeptical of his claims, I bought it anyhow to give it a try. With the engine hot I put the first 1/3 of the can into the large brake booster vacuum line slowly at first, then sucked as much in as quickly as possible until the engine stalled. I replaced the vacuum line and waited for about 15 minutes and started it up. It started a little hard at first being flooded with the Sea Foam, but while revving the gas, it soon ran very smooth and started to smoke like that old movie "Uncle Buck". I made an unbelievable smoke screen that literally shut down Beach Blvd on the MS Gulf Coast for about five minutes! The motor in the old Ford suddenly began to idle perfectly and throttle response was amazing. I then added 1/3 of the can to the oil fill hole in the valve cover and the rest in the gas tank (as instructed on the can). Within about 10 minutes all the lifters were silent and the motor ran as perfect and as powerful as it did the day that it rolled off the assembly line! I now run it on 87 octane gas with no knock whatsoever, so the savings at the pump has paid for the can of Sea Foam many times over. After cleaning all the carbon out of the motor with Sea Foam, the only thing that smokes now are the tires!

Cataclean Engine and Catalytic Converter Treatment- 16.7 oz. Review

Cataclean Engine and Catalytic Converter Treatment- 16.7 oz.
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I thought it felt like the exhaust back pressure was holding my engine back--especially when I let off the gas--so I figured the cat was stopped up (among other things, but hey...181,000 is a lot of miles) and I got this stuff. I'd never used liquid catalytic converter cleaner before, so I didn't know what to expect and was a little skeptical. I wasn't completely disappointed though; it did help. That being said though, this is not a miracle in a bottle. Unless you pour it in every 3 months like it says on the bottle, it probably won't do a whole lot of good long-term, but again like I said, it did help. I do recommend using this in conjunction with another fuel additive...a good one like Lucas 10020 Upper Cylinder Lubrication & Injector Cleaner 5.25 oz. (don't waste your money on Slick50, Gumout, or Prestone...they make no difference). I don't recommend using both at the same time though...that just sounds like a fouled O2 sensor waiting to happen. Use the Cataclean as directed, let it cycle through for a couple weeks or until your tank is empty, then go buy the Lucas and fill up again. You'll notice a difference within a day or 2. I'd say this is worth the investment, but don't expect it to be a one-bottle fix-all.

Restore RES60015 Engine Restorer 6 Cylinder. 15 oz. Review

Restore RES60015 Engine Restorer 6 Cylinder. 15 oz.
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Question: Why are otherwise intelligent people interested in getting inside their car's engine and somehow affecting it?
Answer: I have no idea.
Without a doubt, this is a super hi-performance oil additive! The only difference between this 8 cylinder product and the 6 and 4 cylinder products is the amount of fluid product you get. This 8 cylinder product is 19 oz., the 6 cyl. product is 15 oz. and the 4 cyl. product is 11 oz.. From what they tell me [on their website-[RESTOREUSA.COM] and from my experience, the fluid volume is the only difference between the products by cylinders. WHAT THE PRODUCT CLAIMS:
Regardless of the size of the can, this product claims to be the only product that contains "RESTORE'S" proprietary CSL formula. They claim that "CSL" possesses unique properties that will "fill in" and "seal micro-leaks" in the "cylinder wall" of your engine and mine. They claim the effect of sealing these "micro-leaks" is the elimination of "blow-by", higher engine compression and more apparent horsepower that we can feel.
WHAT I HAVE NOTICED AFTER 3 YEARS OF INTENSIVE USE:
After years of using oil additives which increase viscosity and the risk of blowing oil seals in the engine [I've done that.], I tried this product. It does not increase viscosity, but it does increase the gas mileage [10-12%] and the performance of my 1998 V6 Plymouth Voyager which now has almost 140,000 miles on it. Also, it quieted the noisy lifters and made the engine much easier to turn over on very cold mornings.
During the summers, I do use a viscosity-increasing additive ["NO SMOKE"] which I find to be better at reducing the engine's tendency to burn a little oil [quart every 2,000 miles], especially at high speeds for sustained periods. Having used this product for several years I do feel more comfortable using "Restore" in colder weather as I have noticed a greater tendency to use oil during the summer with it and the faint smell of exhaust fumes if our back van windows are open when we first start the engine. On the plus side, I have also noticed that the benefit of using this treatment lasts at least several months after running the car without it, and I gauge this by the decline in gas mileage that typically does not occur for at least 4,000 miles of driving without it.
Having said that, "Restore" increases gas mileage and is better in cold weather in every way. Now that Old Man Winter is nearly here again, I'll be repurchasing the little silver can very soon. Brrr!
[I have NO affiliation with any product or company]

Bar's Leaks 1000 Engine Repair - 16 fl. oz. Review

Bar's Leaks 1000 Engine Repair - 16 fl. oz.
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This product worked very well for me. The engine has more power especially in the lower gears and at cruising speeds the car seems to shift less and is smoother in the hills. It didn't quiet the slight ticking noise on start up that I have but I think I may have a weak oil pump. (will be taking the car in to have that checked) It took driving the car the full 100 miles to notice a difference - as noted on the package, it may be necessary to drive for 2 days or 100 miles for results. I would definitely recommend this product. I have also used their radiator / cooling system treatments in the past and they work very well too.

CD2 4111 Oil Detergent. 15 oz. Review

CD2 4111 Oil Detergent. 15 oz.
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I ordered this but received CD-2 Company Part No. 4111R. The bottle is the same, but the labeling is different; for example, it does not say "CD-2 Maxx", but only "Oil Detergent". I'm not sure whether the product illustrated is a later or earlier version. I added the product to a car already using full synthetic Mobil 1 Ext. Perf., and was able to tell the engine performance improved right away; it ran "tighter" and the connection between the gas pedal movement and the delivered engine power was more solid than before. Whether it cleans up sludge or engine internals is too early to tell.

K&N HP-2002 Oil Filter Review

KandN HP-2002 Oil Filter
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I was running a ph30 Fram Filter for the longest time on a SBC that we installed back in 2006. The last ph30 filter I put on it I had a real hard time taking it off and ended up having to crush the filter to get it off the motor.
Changed over to Synthetic 10w-30 and the Kn-2002 Filter. I actually gained about 5 more PSI over the ph30 and the addition of the K&N 1 inch nut, it's been a lot easier to change the filter. The construction of the K&N filter is a lot better then the Fram, more solid feel, better drain-back valve and filter median makes this the perfect filter for long in-between oil changes.

I was skeptical that a product like this would work, especially after having tried STP's Stop Leak without success. I decided to give another product (CD-2) a chance instead of spending hundreds of dollars in repairs and after just under 1000 miles it started to make a difference. I would definitely reccomend to spen 5 bucks on this product before spending anything on expensive repairs.
