(More customer reviews)I have used WIX products for years and am continuously impressed with their quality and design. I was introduced to them by friends who are "Car Tuners" (used to be called 'performance mechanics', back in the day). Bought a few from a local parts place and have stuck with them ever since. Simply search the web and you will find many recommendations for WIX products. Their oil filters are very high quality, and are resold by Amsoil dealers when their own engineers don't make a filter for an application. They meet or exceed manufacturer OEM requirements in the applications I have used them.
This oil filter is for a 2011 Mitsubishi 4B11T engine, but you will find quality throughout their line. And they are reasonably priced. Finally, you can get a great price here, on Amazon.com, and even get free shipping in some cases.
I have used WIX oil and air filters on the following cars: 1997 Acura Integra GS-R, 2000 Mercedes-Benz C230 Kompressor, 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 2004 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Sturdy construction. Excellent filtration. Never a failure.

OES Genuine Oil Filter for select Scion/ Toyota models Review

This is the most important part of your engine, so I think it is worths the extra 3 dollars per oil change to get the original equipment, specially then available and affordable.

K&N KN-204C Powersports High Performance Oil Filter Review

(More customer reviews)Black or Chrome, it didn't matter to me. On my bike it's hidden under a fairing anyway. I bought this for the nut welded on the end of the filter. This is such a simple solution especially if you have a bike with fairings that are a pita to remove. Easy on and off using the nut and a socket extention.
If you've ever had to punch a screwdriver through an oil filter and tap it loose with a hammer (potentially endangering knuckles or fairings) this is the answer to your problems.
Seems to perform fine. I haven't discovered any issues with the filter performance.
This is the only filter I'll ever buy again.

K&N KN-147 Powersports High Performance Oil Filter Review

(More customer reviews)Just finished changing my oil and filter. This filter is much better than the oem filter I removed. That fitting on the bottom makes it easy to install and remove in a very tight space. Just wish K&N had an air filter too.

Bosch 72181 Oil Filter Review

(More customer reviews)I run synthetic oil in all my vehicles, and go about 10,000-12,000 miles between changes. (For you nay-sayers...I bought my Ford F150 new in 1999, and Chevy Suburban new in 2002...both have 120,000 on them now, and zero motor issues). Using a good filter with Synthetics is very important in order to get the miles out of the oil.
I normally run a competitive brand high quality filter, but found a good deal on these here on Amazon that fit my F150. I did some homework prior to buying, and Bosch got good reviews from "the experts".
In addition to a good price, shipping was fast and the filters arrived in good shape, in the original box.

Mann-Filter ML 1017 Oil Filter Review

(More customer reviews)For most people I think it's near impossible to judge the effectiveness of an oil filter without an oil analysis after using different brands. Why haven't I seen a comparison test? I think it's because basically, all filters are the same. They have to be in order to meet the manufacturers specification for things like pressure drop. If the filter has too fine of filtering, it's not going to last as long and plug up faster which would make it last less than the recommended oil change interval. Make the filter too coarse and you run the risk of not filtering the oil adequately which would cause excess engine wear and premature failure. In either case as a filter manufacturer you'd lose market share and nobody would buy your filter. So it's all about marketing. With that said, these Mann filters are constructed like most filters and works fine. Heck, filters only have about 3 or 4 parts.

Wix 57060 Spin-On Lube Filter, Pack of 1 Review

(More customer reviews)Wix are generally considered to be some of the finest oil filters available. Usually they are only available at the NON discount automotive stores. Price here is probably 2/3 of local brick and moarter stores. I often use these as fillers for small orders to get the super saver shipping. I know I'll use them eventually so why not.

K&N KN-191 Triumph High Performance Oil Filter Review

(More customer reviews)I changed the oil in my '03 Triumph Speed Triple and replaced the original filter with this K&N. Ascetically, the black finish matches perfectly well with the bike. This was one concern because the filter is visible on the Triple. Functionally, the installation was made very easy with the bolt attachment. No need for a special tool or to rig something to remove and install it. Performance - my bike has now regained the torque that I had been missing, is very smooth, and purrs like a kitten. Don't be suckered into buying Triumph labeled oil filters from your dealer when this one is easily available from Amazon.

(More customer reviews)I only use synthetic oil in my vehicles. It costs a little more, but I think it's worth it. Plus, I don't have to change the oil as often (I can comfortably go 5000 miles between oil changes), so I want to use a filter that can hold up. This filter fits the bill.
I'd give it 5 stars if it came with one of those static decals I could put on my windshield to remind me when the next oil change is due.

Mobil 1 M1-107 Extended Performance Oil Filter, Pack of 2 Review

(More customer reviews)I starting using Mobil 1 products about 2-3 years ago. Ever since then when I check my oil, the color is still a light, golden brown, like it just came out of the bottle. I know these filters are working and you can wait until about 5,000 miles before your next change.
