(More customer reviews)I have used WIX products for years and am continuously impressed with their quality and design. I was introduced to them by friends who are "Car Tuners" (used to be called 'performance mechanics', back in the day). Bought a few from a local parts place and have stuck with them ever since. Simply search the web and you will find many recommendations for WIX products. Their oil filters are very high quality, and are resold by Amsoil dealers when their own engineers don't make a filter for an application. They meet or exceed manufacturer OEM requirements in the applications I have used them.
This oil filter is for a 2011 Mitsubishi 4B11T engine, but you will find quality throughout their line. And they are reasonably priced. Finally, you can get a great price here, on Amazon.com, and even get free shipping in some cases.
I have used WIX oil and air filters on the following cars: 1997 Acura Integra GS-R, 2000 Mercedes-Benz C230 Kompressor, 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 2004 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Sturdy construction. Excellent filtration. Never a failure.

Purolator PL45335 PureONE Oil Filter Review

(More customer reviews)I've only a short experience with this filter. I drive a Dodge 3500 Ram Pickup with a 5.7 L Cummins engine. The price on this filter was exceptional, so I bought three. It's their answer to the new non paper type of filters that do a better job of filtering as the media has layers to trap the bigger particulate on the surface in a way that allows the fluid continue flowing almost unhindered. And they say it filters micronic stuff too?
What I like about the filter.
1. Rough surface all over it so I won't need tools to get it off like I needed with the prior one.
2. Price.
3. Better media than paper.
4. It's Blue
5. Supposed to be able to trap more particulate.
I can't say more as I've only had it a month.

Purolator L34631 Classic Oil Filter, Pack of 1 Review

(More customer reviews)I buy these for a 1997 Chevy Express Van 3500. Sadly, Amazon doesn't stock a Pureone version of this size. I use Purolator Pureones for all my other cars. They're the best filters for the price. FRAM oil filters cost more and they have a paper filter. Purolators use cotton, which is much more durable and effective at filtering.
Props to Amazon for stocking this brand of oil filter.

(More customer reviews)This is a very good oil filter. Well constructed and good filter media - check the web for various opinions and reviews... The textured canister surface makes for a tool-less filter change!
Amazon no longer sell these in a 2-pack. Now the filter is $5 each. Which is marginally cheaper than local auto parts stores. However, the $3/filter rebate (valid bet 2011/04/03 and 2011/10/29) brings the per filter cost down to $2!

(More customer reviews)on the Amazon site it says does not fit my car BUT IT DOES I checked with purolator"s site and got the number.It is a bit longer than the stock filter the car came with,but it fits perfect.I changed the break in oil on the new car just short of 1,500.and I will be using the purolator filters from now on.You can't improve on perfection.I bought a 10 lot from Amazon and will continue as long as they have them at this price.

While the model detector on Amazon says this does not fit the Z, I assure you that it does and it works just fine. 7k miles and two oil changes and not a single issue. Added a filter magnet to it SS250 FilterMag and you're good to go. Great filter.
