Remember: Harley-Davidson found that the standard 5 micron filter was too restrictive on the XR1200 engine because the XR has twice the oil pressure of the regular XL Sportster. Don't buy a regular Sportster filter for your XR1200 or XR1200X!

KN-171C is Chrome (The XR1200 is *not* a Chrome motorcycle, unless your screen name is magicrat)
