(More customer reviews)So I have tried the WIX, Bosch, Napa gold (wix also), frams, STP, you name it and none seemed to have a decent anti-drainback valve. With those filters, after the car has sat for even a day, most of the oil would drain out, and then you would have a dry start while it re-pumped/primed the filter once starting.
With these KN filters, it dosent matter if it sits 1 day or 1 week, oil light goes out half a second after car is started, compared to 2-3 seconds on the other brands of filters. The anti-drainback valve is the best I have found, and have tried almost all other after market filters, none compares with this one far as anti-drainback goes. The anti-drain back valve is important to me, driving a nissan that uses a timing chain, that requires pressure for the tensioner to work. No more chain rattle on start up with this filter, and rattles with all others I have tried. And no timing chain does not need replacing, just did it :)
