Lucas 10008 Power Steering Stop Leak 12 oz. Review

(More customer reviews)My 1999 Crown Vic recently started slowly leaking power steering fluid. After going through a couple bottles of regular power steering fluid I decided to pick up one of these. While it did last longer than normal steering fluid my reservoir got low again after a few days. I went ahead and bought one more bottle because the packaging said they do a money back guarantee for up to two bottles, but the result was the same. Still waiting to hear back from the company regarding the refund (only been a week so I still have hope they will be true to their word).
I give it two stars because it definitely leaked slower than normal fluid, and looking at the reviews here it clearly works for other people, but it did not work for me. I am back to topping of my fluid with the cheap stuff until I am able to take it to a mechanic to repair.

Just wanted to post on here that I received a check in the mail from Lucas Oil for the cost of both bottles plus tax, so they indeed stand behind their product and honored the money back guarantee. There is no risk at all in trying this product.

(More customer reviews)K&N's got such a great reputation for their filters...so I bought 3 for my Saab 93, to use for the next oil changes.
I was surprised when I went to remove the first filter, after about 5000 miles and found it had "come unglued"...figured it was a fluke, used the second filter...decided about 2 weeks later to check it. It had come apart also. Naturally, the 3rd filter went right to the trash, and I bought the Mobil 1 filter M1C-151.
I am using Mobil 1 oil 0-30wt. I'm guessing the K&N filter isn't meant for the synthetic oil?

(More customer reviews)I should have listened to the first reviewer. Indeed the quality of this product is beyond inferior. This product broke in less than 5 minutes after installation. After installing it, I lifted it up to see the level of the oil but the handle snapped from the stick and the stick dropped to the bottom in the tube. Until this writing I'm still figuring it out how to take the stick out. Save your money and give yourself a favor of not having a headache afterwards.

(More customer reviews)This K&N is an excellent Oil Filter for your Dodge Ram Diesel truck. IT goes on good, keeps the oil clean and no flow issues at all with my Cummins turbo diesel. The big nut welded on the filter makes it easy to take off when its time for a change. A lot of Dodge ram truck owners use these filters and it was recommended to me. I am glad I tried it. I bought 10 more they were such a good deal. I think I will go change my oil now, all three gallons. Thanks K&N for an excellent filter.
