(More customer reviews)This product is slightly misunderstood most consumers (including me at one time!) Simply put, you don't have to buy expensive ATF's from the dealer any more. This company (LUBEGARD) sells what's known as automatic transmission conversion products. The LUBEGARD product allows you to buy regular, inexpensive DEXRON/MERCON fluid, and add a bottle of LUBEGARD to transform the inexpensive DEXRON MERCON to the performance requirements of any ATF (there are several different LUBEGARD products, depending on your car). For instance, instead of buying MERCON V ATF for mucho $$$, you buy regular DEXRON at $1.50 quart and addejust one bottle of LUBEGARD and IT WORKS GREAT! It is very highly recommended by transmission shops in my area.

(More customer reviews)Bought a 2005 Highlander with 100k. It drove fine with a slight lurch when I was feathering the throttle as it was going into 1st. I did a fluid exchange with Mobil 3309 (t-IV type), a new filter, and a bottle of Lubegard Platinum. This vehicle now shifts as smooth as glass; absolutely amazing! Most additive stuff does nothing that can be felt; this product is different... I also have the added thermal protection that I will need to pull the camper next summer!

Here in California, running 91 octane premium Chevron gas, at wide open throttle in 4th gear I would see 1.0-3.0 knock. This is actually considered normal, however I wanted to see if this product would work, so I picked up a bottle of Lucas Octane Booster and put it in my tank.
My knock went to 0 in 4th gear. In 3rd I still get some knock (about 1.0) on hard runs, otherwise, it definitely does appear to help. Stock srt-4 boosting to about 11-12psi to redline.

(More customer reviews)Have an abused '03 impala (130k+ miles) that started hard shifting/slipping. Turned out to be a sticking/worn valve. Removed 48 ounces of fluid and replaced with two bottles of this Lucas treatment and the problem has yet to return and it has been a 2 months and 4,000 miles. I also just changed the trans fluid and filter (adding a bottle of this treatment to the replacement oil) and all is still well.

Lucas 10008 Power Steering Stop Leak 12 oz. Review

(More customer reviews)My 1999 Crown Vic recently started slowly leaking power steering fluid. After going through a couple bottles of regular power steering fluid I decided to pick up one of these. While it did last longer than normal steering fluid my reservoir got low again after a few days. I went ahead and bought one more bottle because the packaging said they do a money back guarantee for up to two bottles, but the result was the same. Still waiting to hear back from the company regarding the refund (only been a week so I still have hope they will be true to their word).
I give it two stars because it definitely leaked slower than normal fluid, and looking at the reviews here it clearly works for other people, but it did not work for me. I am back to topping of my fluid with the cheap stuff until I am able to take it to a mechanic to repair.

Just wanted to post on here that I received a check in the mail from Lucas Oil for the cost of both bottles plus tax, so they indeed stand behind their product and honored the money back guarantee. There is no risk at all in trying this product.

(More customer reviews)I have used for years.Quites engine,But mind you,It will effect the weight of your oil.I don't recommened it in colder climates in the ratio they recommened.I have a 4 cyclinder and I use a half quart in the 5 quart oil change.Also in my lawn mower for the added protection.It's thick like honey and clinges to the engine.
