(More customer reviews)I have a Jaguar XK8 which I typically had to crank for 5 to 10 seconds before it would start. The check-valve on the fuel pump was apparently bad, and the fuel pump is in the fuel tank. The dealer wanted $1800 to do the job. The fuel pump alone was $500, and the entire fuel tank needed to be removed in order to replace it. Instead of spending $1800, I cut the fuel line, inserted this check valve, and now my car starts instantly every time! The only problem I had was with the size of the fuel line. Jaguar uses metric size fuel lines and this check valve didn't quite fit. So, I just purchased some flexible fuel line from the auto parts store and spliced this check valve into the existing line using the flex line. It worked perfectly and saved me over $1700!
