(More customer reviews)I am quite happy with this filter. It's a great filter, great construction. Very "Tacticool" looking with it's jet black and minimalist look. Doesn't show dirty finger prints easily. Nice conversation starter. I personally have been asked to be the best man at 5 different weddings simply because I had this oil filter on my car. I helped build 18 churches, start 7 schools in impoverished countries, and donated three kidneys because this filter is so inspiring. If start feeling a cold coming on, I rub this filter on my chest and problem solved. It's pretty good.
However, I can save you a little money. You see, this filter appears in every way to be identical to the PureOne 10111 filters that Amazon sells for $5. Every way except the black color and Bosch name. Now, you may or may not be invited to as many weddings with a yellow oil filter on your car instead of a black one, but it will save you about $1.80.
Both are exceptional filters. But when they seem to be identical filters, that would make sense then wouldn't it.

(More customer reviews)I do my own oil changes, and use synthetic oil. I usually go about 5,000 miles between oil changes, and want to use a good, long-life filter. Since I'm spending more on the oil, I don't want to cheap out on the filter.
The one thing that would be nice is if the filter came with one of those window cling decals so that I could write down when my next oil change is due.
