(More customer reviews)The dealer wanted to charge me $69 for the filter plus placing it in the car. I paid 11.99 for this and it took me 3 minutes to install it. Don't give your money to the dealer, when he told me the price I said don't do it, it is too much, he said: "The price is more for getting to it, it is behind the glove compartment, it is hard to get there". It is not hard, it is quick, you just need a screw driver, I know nothing about cars, but this was a piece of cake.

K&N 99-0606 Air Filter Cleaner - 12oz Pump Spray Review

(More customer reviews)I had the kit for about a year and cleaned the filter about 2-4 times a year depending on when I change my oil. The pump will eventually go bad, it would be best to have a seperate spray bottle and transfer the fluid into that one.

(More customer reviews)Even though this seems to be a little steep in price for a paper filter it sure is better than paying $50.00 for this same item at the dealer. I own a 2005 Hyundai Elantra and this cabin air filter fit perfecly. I'm not sure why these filters tend to be so costly but they sure help in keeping the inside of your vehicle smelling better if you change them out on a regular basis.

(More customer reviews)Wow, are you ever lucky to be reading this review. You have stumbled upon the best filter and filter cleaning whatever crap to exist in the universe. I've used many kinds of filters and recharge kits, but this one truly does work. Once you switch to Injen's patented magic etc. technology to clean their magic etc. patented technology filters, there is absolutely no way you will go back to those terrible frigging paper filters ever again.
This stuff recharged and cleaned my old filter and I've been using it for like a damn year. Paper filters explode when they touch water (science!) but these shrug it all off and keep on performing with performance. When you clean your filter though, be sure to leave yourself a decent amount of time for the filter to dry, because you have to hose all the bugs and unicorns that got stuck in there from your driving and unicorn collisions. I would absolutely recommend this product with the Injen brand filters, they are the best filter/filter recharge kits I've used, and I won't use anything else on my car to keep it running.

(More customer reviews)While I am somewhat handy with vehicles, you don't have to be when changing most air filters. Some might think it is crazy, but I really believe these things do what they say they do... improveme in mileage and power. While not overwhelming, it is certainly noticeable. Combine it with a few other mods and I think you'll be surprised, I know I was. I am now saving two miles per gallon between this and a few other changes I made. All that aside, they last forever with the occasional cleaning so you can't go wrong. Great filter.

(More customer reviews)It's an air filter! It does what it's supposed to. I'm happiest about the cost. I think I paid about $15.00, whereas local stores and the dealer would be $25+. Word of advice. Look up how to change your air filter on the internet. If it seems easy enough - do it! My Honda dealer was going to charge $92 for something that took me 3 minutes.

K&N E-0945 Replacement Air Filter Review

(More customer reviews)I waited until my F-150 had 125,000 miles on it to get the K&N filter for it and now wish I had bought it sooner. The engine response on acceleration improved noticeably, while gas mileage only improved very fractionally. I like it a lot, but understand that cleaning and re-oiling it will not only be a chore when the time comes, but it might also be a bit pricey (almost as much as the original filter.) Considering this costs about 2x what an air filter at Jiffy-Lube costs, maybe that's ok, and I'll reserve judgment until I've actually done the cleaning and re-oiling once. In the meantime, I have smoother, quicker acceleration, and I'm pleased. I used 4-stars instead of 5 because of the cost/work of cleaning....
