(More customer reviews)I have had one of these little valves in my vehicles since they were first made available to the public. (I have always changed my own oil and fishing around for the oil drain plug that invariably falls into the catch pan was always a major pain in the butt.) I'm guessing that over the years I've had these in service for over half a million vehicle miles! At the first oil change with a new-new or new-used car, the standard drain plug comes out and one of these gems goes in. In all the miles and years of having these installed, I have NOT had one single problem with them. (I never have to remember what size wrench to use either.) Get one of these and you'll almost look forward to changing your oil!

MOTUL OIL 300V 15W50 SYNESTR 4L 836241 Review

(More customer reviews)I only noticed a very slight difference in power from using this oil. It does keep my air cooled engine a slight bit cooler. Interresting green color visible through the oil sight glass. All things considered, it is rather pricey and I noticed more power using Rotella full synthetic oil.

Lisle 19732 6 Quart Translucent 8" Pouring Spout Oil Dispenser" Review

If you are not super careful you end up with alot of oil on top of your engine. Pour spot is to short and to stiff also. I bought both the 6 and the 8 guart and both have the same problem.

If you have never used this product it might take you several minutes to understand them since the illustrations arent too clear but I'm sure if you have the technical know-how to get to the point of being able to use this product, you can figure it out. The only issue I had was the seal slipping out of the chinese fingers, but I got past that by anchoring the seal with a piece of thin wire (ie staple or paper clip) to the fingers, securing the seal until you get the other end through. I used it with a rope seal on a F4-134 engine. Beats having to remove the engine out and all of that mess.

I don't understand that other review on here about the company "not upholding the guarantee". Make sure you contact the manufacturer's phone number on the back of the bottle and ask about recommended places they sell the product (888.863.0426). I have called it before and they even walk you through the process and explained the money back guarantee. I know you can purchase it from NAPA, AutoZone, Advance Auto Parts, O'Reilly, Carquest, Pep Boys and Fisher. I have a bottle in my hand right now and it is brand new. BEWARE: The label looks different than the picture on Amazon from AutoBarn. I checked the Red Angel manufacturer's website ([...]) and their picture on their site looks like my bottle. I think that previous reviewer used a dated bottle which probably explains his experience. This product is amazing! I recommend it to all my friends!

(More customer reviews)This is an excellent high performance motor oil for vintage engines due to a high zinc content. Modern engine oils no longer contain zinc due to zinc's degradation of catalytic converters. This isn't a problem for newer vehicles since modern engines use overhead cams or roller lifters with low friction. Vintage cars use flat tappet camshafts which will be damaged if motor oils without zinc are used. If you're running a flat tappet cam engine, you need to run an oil with high zinc or use a zinc additive such as ZDDP. This oil is "Not Street Legal" because it will damage your catatytic converter and render your vehicle non-compliant smog wise if used in a newer vehicle.
