(More customer reviews)I had this Jack for 7 months, used sparingly. For those 7 months I was happy with it. Good sturdy construction with thoughtful grip-areas. It did its job well.
However, after 7 months I saw a puddle of oil seeping out from under the jack. It was unusable after that. Turns out it is a fairly common issue with this model as some other sites with reviews show people with the same kind of issues.
I have not found a suitable replacement (that is as easy to use in this price point) but it sucks that a 100 dollar jack would only last 7 months. I have (and relatives as well) 25 dollar autozone specials that come with jackstands that are still going strong after 2-3 years.
If you have this PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ALWAYS use jackstands with this. I don't trust it with my car and I certainly don't trust it with my life.
