(More customer reviews)I used to have a charger that I bought for cheap on ebay and was getting periodic "This charger accessory is not supported", likely due to insufficient current. After doing some research, I came across this one which had good current ratings. It looked like it fit the bill as I was looking for a charger I wouldn't need to rebuy over and over for different devices. I looked at power inverters, but most of them looked kinda bulky and had complaints about the noise output of the fans. So I opted for this, which provides usb output....which most devices that I have tend to support. The bonus of the 2 extra cigarette ports is good, as I can still plug in other devices that might need them.
It fits nicely in my 2006 Honda Civic and I can tuck it out of the way. The construction of the charger feels quality, and not like a cheap case that might break easy. My only concern is that there's no cover for the cigarette lighter adapter, making it possible that I could get debris of something lodged in there if I'm not careful, but I may be able to buy some kind of plug, or just put some tape over the front to cover it while not in use. That's why I gave it a 3 star safety rating.
Other than that, so far I like it and ir rapidly charges my iPhone 3GS with an extra usb port I might find something else I can do with!
