(More customer reviews)I service my own vehicles, and the 2007 Dodge Nitro that this is used on has very limited accessibility to the oil filter (the frame and a crossmember restrict available space). The friction surface on the filter makes hand installation (and removal after 5,000 miles of use) relatively easy, and should the filter be overtorqued at installation, a filter wrench can also be applied to facilitate removal.
