It requires special brake fluid that's terribly expensive from dealers but the Castrol - GTA LMA Brake Fluid is an inexpensive substitute. I was happy to find it through Amazon.

(More customer reviews)This works great on my 2009 Scion xB. When I had the factory fill, there was plenty of grinding gear noise. It was very noticeable in the winter. Replaced it with Redline at 20K and it improved a little. When I replaced it with ENEOS at 40K, most of the notchiness and grinding sound was gone. It shifted smoothly during the winter. My car is at 60K right now and will definitely purchase this product again for the fluid change!
