Lubro-Moly Pro-Line Engine Flush (500 ML) Review

Lubro-Moly Pro-Line Engine Flush (500 ML)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I tried this product because I have some varnish buildup on the head of my engine (as can be seen with the valve cover off). My engine has 315k and seems to have a little too much heat at the top end which cooks the oil a lot. I used this product and I expected more from the pictures on the Lubro-Moly site. It is stronger than the Pyroil or Johnssen flush I have tried, but I can't say it did any better than the Gunk or Berryman ones I tried. I haven't actually taken the valve covers off and looked, but it did look cleaner through the oil fill when the oil was drained. It did clean quite a bit internally and took out the crud that was built up in the rings as it said it would. Now my compression isn't so good as I depended on that crud to fix it. I am going to use it again for a while to see if it solves the problem.

Lubro-Moly MoS2 Anti-Friction Engine Treatment (300 ML) Review

Lubro-Moly MoS2 Anti-Friction Engine Treatment (300 ML)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have used moly products before in industrial equipment to reduce power usage so I was happy to try this product out in my car (a 97 Mazda Protege with 315k miles). The results were noticeable as I had a 15% improvement in gas mileage. I was pretty surprised and tested again with another tankful. I used the Lubro-Moly engine flush to clean the engine before I put this in at an oil change and used the same brand oil as before (Shell). The results are much better than the Slick 50 I was using (Slick 50 giving little difference). I am going to use this product from now on regularly.

Hy-Per Lube Racing Formula Oil Supplement - 1 Quart Review

Hy-Per Lube Racing Formula Oil Supplement - 1 Quart
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have used the racing and the non-racing version of Hy-Per Lube as directed and as engine makeup oil at half-strength (16 oz.) as an oil 'booster'. I have not noticed an increase in gas mileage (too many variables in my commute to accurately determine improvement in MPG). However, I have noticed quieter operation especially in cars with 4-cylinders and others with hydraulic valve lash adjusters/lifters ... even at 16oz ... which is why I continue to purchase since it cost 2x as much as typical motor oil. I have used with booth conventional and synthetic motor oils without fault.
I have also used, as recommended, both as a supplement to conventional gear oils for manual transmissions and differentials ... here I have noticed the smoother operation.

ZMax Engine Treatment (12 oz.) Review

ZMax Engine Treatment (12 oz.)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have a 1992 GMC Suburban with a 5.7L (350 cu. in.) that I've had since 1996. I religiously changed the oil every 3,000 miles. I currently have 332,000 miles on the original engine and was burning about 1/2 quart between oil changes before using ZMax. Immediately after using ZMax the oil usage went to zero! Since 2008 I've had no oil usage between oil changes! I know this sounds impossible but it's true. I've used many other products of this type but this is the 1st one that actually met it's claims.
ZMax recommends that you use their product a couple of times a year but I now use it after every oil change as I think it is cheap insurance against engine wear and ultimate replacement.

ZDDPPlus ZDDP Engine Oil Additive Zinc & Phosphorus 3pk Review

ZDDPPlus ZDDP Engine Oil Additive Zinc and Phosphorus 3pk

I own an old 1964 Ford Falcon convertible with a 302cid 4V V8,it has a flat tappet(non-roller lifter) hydraulic cam in it. Now that the Federal Government and EPA have mandated reducing and eliminating the anti-wear additive Zinc dialkyldithiophosphates (often referred to as ZDDP) from our motor oils this product gives me peace of mind that I can enjoy my old cars with out worrying about camshaft and lifter failures caused by new motor oil that is not meant for older cars anymore. Even the Shell Rottella 15w-40 diesal oil has reduced ZDDP levels now. ZDDP is supposedly reported to build up in the catalytic converters causing them to fail. Hy-Per Lube Oil Supplement - 1 Quart Review

Hy-Per Lube Oil Supplement - 1 Quart
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I purchased this in an attempt to rectify the groaning coming from the rear differential of my 2003 AWD Aztek. It was recommended by the dealership as an alternative to spending $3,000 to replace the differential, and it did nothing. I switched to Lucas gear oil, which I was initially told to avoid, and the noise is gone, go figure. In all, it simply didn't do what I bought it for, and I could not return it so it just sits in the shed.
