Lexol 1019 Leather Conditioner and Preservative Wipes, 25 counts, pack of 6 Review

I was hoping that these would be wonderful for quick clean ups on my light tan leather. They do wipe up the messes, but it leaves a residue that is very unpleasant to touch and smell. I think I'm going to go back to the Armour All brand.

Leather Dressing Review

Leather Dressing

Used to use this product on my Softail Classic years ago and realized it benefits and ease of use, and bought it recently to dress some new boots and soften them up. Best to put on lightly and use a hair dryer to liquify it letting it soak into the leather, softens, protects your smooth leather, seeps into all seams and stitches!

I used this product in my car on the seats and dashboard. It does a nice job and makes the leather smell good. I also use it on my leather computer chair with good results. A friend used it on an older car and was amazed with how his seats came out.

Leatherique Prestine Clean 32oz. Review

Leatherique Prestine Clean 32oz.
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
When I purchased my car, I thoroughly researched cleaners and conditioners to ensure against the cracking Armourall had caused in my previous vehicle. I purchased the Leatherique Conditioner and Pristine Clean after reading about them on the internet (see product description above), and use them according to the directions on autogeek.net.
I use an old sock to apply the oil, park the car in the sun for a day, and then remove dirt and excess oil with Pristine Clean. The oil is used first so that it can penetrate the leather and bring impurities to the surface.
I also tried it on the leather in a ten-year-old vehicle, and with only one use, it made a noticeable difference in appearance. I would imagine that with more applications, the leather would be restored.
As for my car, the Leatherique products have maintained the subtle quality and new-leather scent of my upholstery; I use it about three times a year. I was hesitant to purchase the products because of the price, but I have found they lived up to all the claims. Aside from the quality results I obtain, I also have peace of mind that they will not damage my vehicle.

Connolly Hide Care Review

Connolly Hide Care
Average Reviews:

Back when, Connolly hide food was "the" leather conditioner. It was recommended by Jaguar, Rolls Royce, Bentley etc. It used to be made of cattle by-products, so really did contain the stuff that makes leather soft, and avoids drying out - albeit at an animally-type smell! I've brought back many a rough looking leather car interior with this hide food.
But no more. The latest jar I purchased had all those ingredients gone. Now it's just the boring lanolin-based hide food - which is really not that wonderful.
I'd certainly say this was not worth it's premium price.

Leatherique Prestine Clean 16oz. Review

Leatherique Prestine Clean 16oz.
Average Reviews:

By far the best leather cleaner/conditioner I have used! After trying all the common leather cleaners and conditioners you find at auto parts stores up to the best common on the shelf products like Lexol and Meguiar's (both good products), Rejuvenator Oil/Pristine Clean is simply in another league. Instead of leaving behind an oily or tacky finish on the surface that only lasts a few days, this system really gets deep into the leather to strengthen and protect it. In fact because it actually penetrates and soaks into leather, the Rejuvenator Oil (not the Pristine Clean) is the first step in cleaning! Most other products have you clean first then add a conditioner. All this does is clean the surface leaving all that sweat, grit and grime trapped in your leather.
Leatherique's method is different and has you apply the Rejuvenator Oil first to soak into the leather. After it has soaked deep into the pours and fibers of the leather, all the dirt and grime floats out of the leather to the surface. You then clean away all this grime with the Pristine Clean. It really does work! My BMW M3's Nappa leather seats were like cardboard and starting to crack from neglect of the previous owner. Rejuvenator Oil/Pristine Clean has brought my seats back to their original soft supple feel. My interior is the rare Modena, which is a natural tan color (like a baseball glove) and it shows dirt and wear very easily. I get complements all the time now on how good my interior looks. Rejuvenator Oil/Pristine clean has also brought back that wonderful leather smell. Not from perfumes or scent of the product itself but from the actual real leather smell of my seats! Highly recommended!

Fiebing PN0C00P016Z Neatsfoot Oil Compound Review

Fiebing PN0C00P016Z Neatsfoot Oil Compound
Average Reviews:

I bought this to use on a leather jacket, since I had used neatsfoot oil in the past. However, this is a COMPOUND OIL, and my jacket now smells like motor oil and I only hope the smell eventually leaves it. Maybe it would be all right for a saddle or for boots, but would you really want those to smell of motor oil? I think you should invest in 100% pure neatsfoot oil.

I used this on an old Coach purse that someone gave me. It brought the dull leather to life and now I have a good looking Coach purse! We've also used it on boots and it does an equally good job. Thanks Lexol.

Lexol 1013 Leather Conditioner 33.8 oz. (1 Liter) Review

Lexol 1013 Leather Conditioner 33.8 oz. (1 Liter)
Average Reviews:

I have used this and the LEXOL cleaner on several cars and trucks I have owned over the last 10 plus years and I love it. I keep my vehicles until the tires fall off and I like my seats neat. I sold a Jeep with 300,000 miles on it and uncracked leather seats because I used this every month. You may want to do what I do and order a spray bottle of each the cleaner and this conditioner and also order a large refill of the conditioner because I find I use 2-3 times as much conditioner as cleaner. The cleaner is very concentrated and liberal use of this conditioner keeps the leather from getting as dirty so get it very clean once, soak it down with this conditioner then you'll not need to use much cleaner. Follow the directions and you will be happy with this.

My favorite leather leash came from Germany. It is almost 20 years old, has been left in the rain repeatedly (by accident! hey, I have kids!) and I have been using Lexol forever.
My Mephisto shoes keep supple and water resistant, and I use Lexol on all leathers; from my leather covered Bibles, to shoes, boots, and even my Swiss Army watchband! It preserves leather, cleans it, repairs cracks, and keeps leather strong.
I love quality leather and condition everything I own with Lexol products. ***** star product.

Leather Honey Leather Conditioner, the Best Leather Conditioner Since 1968, 16 oz Bottle Review

Leather Honey Leather Conditioner, the Best Leather Conditioner Since 1968, 16 oz Bottle
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I can see why in 25 years they have not had a single complaint-- it's honestly that good. I have a lot of leather things, including wallets, shoes, and upholstery, and it has been working fabulously on all of them. You apply the leather honey to dry, clean leather (can be cleaned with gentle soap) and wait a few hours for it to be absorbed by the leather. My new Santoni shoes sucked up all the leather honey very quickly, but I waited the full two hours anyway. I have only used it on black leather, and it made the blacks deeper and less dried out, and am happy knowing that my leather is being well-cared for. This 16oz bottle seems like the best deal because the 8oz bottle is much more expensive per ounce when you factor in the shipping-- and it won't expire and you will eventually use it all. I look forward to using this leather conditioner for years to come! Thanks for a great product. The only way to make it better would be to have Amazon free Super Saver Shipping or be Amazon Prime eligible for free 2-day shipping.
10/22/2010: as of the initial writing of my review, they have rolled the shipping cost into the product cost and made the shipping free; with that adjustment, the 16oz is still the better deal (two 8oz bottles would be [...]). Still using this on my shoes and other leather goods with great results.

Fiebing SNMO00P003Z Snowproof Mink Oil Review

Fiebing SNMO00P003Z Snowproof Mink Oil
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This is great stuff. I'm passing along two good tips from my local shoe repair expert. First, it does darken some leather. For my hiking boots and many other items this is not a problem, in fact it improves the appearance of the leather. But if that's a concern to you be sure to test it on your item first. Second, instead of "wiping off the excess" as the package directions indicate, use a hair dryer to lightly warm the leather and the paste will sink right in. This creates a better waterproofing seal and the item is ready to be used again in minutes.

Leather Honey Leather Conditioner, the Best Leather Conditioner 8oz Bottle

I live in the desert and my very expensive leather couch has really taken a beating with the lack of moisture in the air. I have used no less than 10 other products to condition my cracking sofa. They all seem to work for a day or two and then the dryness and cracking return. I purchased this product and followed the simple instructions and I am amazed! My couch looks fantastic- it is still worn (as a 15 year old couch should be) but the rough, brittle feeling to the leather is gone. My couch feels and looks healthy again!
In addition to a fantastic product, this company provides amazing customer service! The have a customer for life !!

Obenauf's Leather Oil 16oz. Review

Obenauf's Leather Oil 16oz.
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I've been a fan of Bick 4 leather conditioner and have been its champion for years. I've applied it to anything that is leather (briefcases, bags (messenger, laptop), jackets, pipe bags, leather tobacco pouches, etc.). I also have a few boots (and "regular" shoes) and that is where it is mostly applied to. I recently ran out of Bick 4 which forced me to hit my local store. Just my luck, they ran out of it. The sales clerk suggested I use Obenauf's Heavy Duty LP and Leather Oil. He explained to me how the product worked. I was extremely apprehensive about this product at first. It did cost a little bit more than the Bick 4. However, I took a gamble and purchased both products. After carefully following the instructions, I applied both LP and Leather Oil to all my boots, jackets and leather bags and brief cases. I was amazed with the result. I could really see and feel the difference. Unlike Bick 4, Obenauf's not only conditions the leather, it also repels water. It even removed the scuff marks that were on my briefcase. It may have cost me a pretty penny for both, but it was worth it. THIS STUFF REALLY WORKS! A word of caution though, it did make the colors on some of my shoes and other leather items darker. Bick 4 has served me well over the years. However, it's time to move over and say hello to my new friend - OBENAUF'S.
