Mini Lift Car Ramps for Sports Cars ML-1066 Review

These ramps are so well built, that they'll hold my Dakota, Full size Bronco, my wife's Forester, neighbors Expedition, etc, and long enough that I can get my sons lowered (3" ground clearance) Monte Carlo right up them. Plus they are tall enough to get most any service that doesn't require wheel removal done and wide enough for vehicles with large off-road tires plus with large enough side guides not to have to worry about driving off the side, and has a huge end stop plate to keep you from driving off the end. Plus being aluminum, the pair are lighter than one of my old steel ramps (now scrapped), which were too steep even for my wife's Forester and they will never rust, Only problem I've had is that they use a cheap rubber pad on the bottom of the legs where they contact the ground to keep them from sliding, they lasted a week, easily replaced with some heavier rubber and some good 3M spray adhesive. They shipped quickly and arrived undamaged. I see right now they are unavailable, hope that changes, they should be able to sell thousands of these sets for all of us backyard mechanics. Only set I'd buy if I ever need another set

Blitz 11848 Dispos-Kit Review

I change my own oil for my cars and motorcycles. It never fails, now matter how careful I am, a little oil always ends up on the garage floor.
This kit is really helpful. For a couple of bucks you get a pair of gloves, some heavy duty paper towels and a nice little absorbent pad (23" x 35") this is plastic lined on the bottom so that if you spill any oil on it, it won't leak through
I liked them so much that I just recently ordered four more

Blitz 11930 Tire Hugger Wheel Chock - 2 Pack Review

Blitz 11930 Tire Hugger Wheel Chock - 2 Pack
Average Reviews:

It's beyond me how others think they should have gotten 4, or one reviewer thinks she only received one. It's clear from the description that this is a PAIR of wheel chocks, not two pair, not one chock. The 2 are NOT "screwed together" as mentioned in another review. The manufacturer attaches them with a plastic fastener called a "christmas tree." It's similar to the plastic fasteners that hold interior door panels on a car. This is removable; the 2 chocks are separated for use. Granted, it's a little difficult to pull them apart, a pair of pliers helps. It would be dangerous to leave the 2 wheel chocks attached as shipped to try to prevent a car or RV from moving.
Now for some actual, useful information about the wheel chocks. I bought these to stabilize my cars when jacking them to service brakes, tires, etc. My garage floor is painted with epoxy paint. Even with the anti-slip additive in the paint, several other wheel chocks I have tried always slipped and moved on the epoxy floor. These Blitz Tire Hugger Wheel Chocks have held firm on the floor every time. As with any wheel chock, it's important to make sure it's firmly wedged between the tire and the floor. A quick firm kick to wedge the chock in place is all I ever need on my slippery garage floor.
I don't think these would be useful outdoors on an unpaved surface, such as with an RV or trailer in the woods. But then, it dozen't seem that's how they are being marketed anyway, and I haven't tried them in this application. For working on a car with a jack or ramps, these chocks do the job.

Blitz Rhino Ramp 8000 Review

Bought a set of these for doing the oilchanges on the family cars over the weekend. They work great on cars with lower ground clearance, and are easy to set up and store. Much simpler than having to get the car up on jacks or blocks. RWD cars may have a bit more trouble getting up these if they're used on surfaces with lower traction, but FWD (and 4WD/AWD) cars will get up them just fine.

Fumoto F-106 Engine Oil Drain Valve Review

Fumoto F-106 Engine Oil Drain Valve

I purchased the F-106 and the extender for a 2011 Honda Pilot. I was able to get the extender on without issue, however the handle of the valve housing does not clear the oil pan and I was unable to get the valve on the vehicle.
I am not sure if Honda redesigned the oil pan for 2011, however the recommended unit does not fit.
That being said, I have Fumoto Valves on my 2008 Honda CRV and my 2005 Saturn Ion. They work great.
