Let me begin by saying I hate metal hammer loops. The sound of a hammer clanking around in the metal loops is among the most abrasive sounds I've had to put up with. With that said, I purchased this because of the leather loops and have been very happy with it. This belt replaces a CLC leather belt that I had bought at the depot and served me well. Needless to say depot stopped selling the belt so here I was at amazon belt shopping.
The BucketBoss belt here is almost identical to the belt I am replacing and is well made. I am happy with the pockets and it seems the rivets hold the belt together well. Has hammer loops left and right.(A+) The belt goes down pretty small 28" waist and also could fit a 40+ inch waist in my estimation. The belt is long and I had to cut the excess off. The quality of leather is good in the pockets but seems a little less so on the belt. This belt is light and doesn't bulk you down with cumbersome weight. The only improvement that could be made is to the leather edge where the speed square slips in- it needs some reinforcement so it doesn't fold in blocking access to the inside pocket which it tends to do. Also Id love to see a top grain leather belt rather than a split grain belt though the belt is acceptable. Usually the belt holes wear out before the belt on these lesser leather belts. In my case Ive had it for three months and so far so good. Great price but i'd be willing to pay a few more bucks for top grain on the belt part. Made in USA... get one!
