Bar's Leaks 1000 Engine Repair - 16 fl. oz. Review

This product worked very well for me. The engine has more power especially in the lower gears and at cruising speeds the car seems to shift less and is smoother in the hills. It didn't quiet the slight ticking noise on start up that I have but I think I may have a weak oil pump. (will be taking the car in to have that checked) It took driving the car the full 100 miles to notice a difference - as noted on the package, it may be necessary to drive for 2 days or 100 miles for results. I would definitely recommend this product. I have also used their radiator / cooling system treatments in the past and they work very well too.

Mechanic said the rear seal needed replacing ($350 on a grand caravan) and i had already noticed that the leak was pretty bad. I followed the directions and then drove 500 miles (plus another couple hundred since) had have not seen a the oil level drop at all. I'm not sure if i'll need to use another bottle after the oil gets changed, but "No Leak" certainly saved me money in the short run.

White Shepherd Stop Leak & Conditioner Review

White Shepherd Stop Leak and Conditioner

I got this for a steering fluid leak I'd had for about a year, I would have to refill the fluid every week, and it was getting worse over time. I tried some other stop leak steering fluids but they didn't do anything. This White Shepherd stuff works differently for some reason. It is expensive for a small bottle of fluid, but it's the most affordable fix I could find.
The instructions say to drive around for a while after putting this in, and I think that really makes a difference. I drove for about 45 mins and still noticed a bit of a leak. I took my car out again later that day for maybe an hour or so and after that no leak.
I wouldn't hesitate to use this on any other leaks I may get in the future, steering fluid or otherwise.

Bar's Leaks and No Leaks are VERY good products that do what they say:protect your motor. I had a Buick LeSabre with a leak in the motor and this sealed it in a matter of only a few driving minutes. Highly recommended! I now own a Malibu and have already used this product again. Good stuff! Lucas also makes excellent motor additives.

POWER STEERING STOP LEAK -- QUART Review

May not *completely* stop a leak, but still the best out there for a steering gearbox with a worn out seal. Sometimes ya just gotta bite the bullet & replace the gearbox. This is helping me to avoid doing that, though.

Lucas 10278 Engine Oil Stop Leak - 32 oz. Review

Lucas 10278 Engine Oil Stop Leak - 32 oz.

My '95 Nissan was leaking oil (not much) and it was driving me nuts seeing spots on my driveway every time I pulled in or out of my driveway. I checked its underside where the leak was coming from - it was by the timing belt cover. Now this is a major undertaking and expensive if you would have it repair by a mechanic.
Bought 3 qrts of Castrol 10/30W, Fram Extra Guard Oil Filter, and a quart of Lucas Engine Oil Stop Leak. Drained the old oil and replaced the old oil filter. Put 2 qrts of the Castrol first then 1/2 of the Lucas EOSL. The remaining 1 qrt of Castrol I put last. My car takes 3 1/2 qrts of oil.
The first week - there were still some leak but by the middle of third week, the leak was gone. I know this is just a band-aid solution, but given enough time and money I'll have to get that leak fixed in a proper way.
Some mechanics stand by this additive and some car aficionados hate this product like a plague. Just use it sparingly, meaning not too much, just the right proportion or ratio between this and your oil. Otherwise "Foaming" would result in your engine oil and you don't want that to happen. Your oil seals would swell and bloat too if you over use this additive and more oil leaks would spring up pretty soon.
