(More customer reviews)This is the stock fuel filter for many Ford vehicles, including my Explorer. Located along the driver side frame rail, just under the driver's seat and behind the tire. You will need one of these: 5/16 In Fuel Line / Filter Disconnect Tool - Ford, KD Tools 3321 Ford Fuel Line Quick Disconnect, or OEM 25043 Fuel Line Disconnect Tool. Jack up the vehicle and secure it with jack stands. Open the fuel fill cap, remove the fuel pump fuse (if applicable), and disconnect the negative battery terminal. Have a drain pan handy to catch fuel that will run out of the lines. Remove the line from the gas tank to the filter first. Then remove the other end which leads to the engine. If you have never changed the fuel filter, with age & corrosion, this may be harder to do than you think. Some have reported that the quick disconnect fittings were stuck on and that they had to cut the fuel lines. But with regular service, your future fuel filter changes will take only minutes. Safety equipment is optional. If you don't care about gasoline getting on your skin, and in your eyes, ears, nose, and mouth, then don't wear any safety equipment. If you have a water heater, or any other source of open flame with a pilot light, then you may want to check with your homeowners insurance before you blow the garage up. IF you smoke.....well, enjoy your last cigarette. Or it might actually end up being your very last cigarette.

(More customer reviews)I had been using ice-melt during the winter and using the white plastic bucket that the salt came in as the storage canister duing use. The problem with that approach is that the bucket lid is difficult to pry off while wearing gloves and it's 10 degrees outside. I purchased this Eagle waste can after seeing them being used for ice-melt where I work. They use a lot more salt there than I use at home, but I appreciated the ease of the foot-operated opener to access the salt. The bucket arrived in great condition and the supplied warning sticker for "oily rags" was easy to remove for my use. I discovered that the 5 gallon bucket my ice-melt comes in can fit (with the snap-on lid removed) entirely inside this 10 gallon waste can, with the snap on lid set to the side inside the waste can for later use. This worked out even better than atticipated. At the end of the season, I then removed ice-melt bucket from the waste can and snapped the lid back on to keep moisture from the air from being absorbed by the salt.

Hayes PRO Bleed Kit Review

Buy this kit instead of the cheaper, smaller kit that's available. It'll save you a lot of hassles.
The hoses in the box didn't match up with all of the lengths described in the parts list in the kit, but there was enough tubing to assemble everything. It's a bit complicated to assemble; the pictures aren't very clear, sort-of like a 1970's motorcycle maintenance manual. Download the instructions from Hayes' web site first. Note that the instructions take more time to read than the time it takes to actually bleed the brakes. After you do it the first time, it seems trivial.
Brake bleeding on a bicycle is messy. The adapter that fits into the master cylinder bleed hole makes for a questionable attachment; push it in tight or you'll have brake oil everywhere. Even so, you'll still get some brake fluid splashing around.
4 stars because there should be an easier way to bleed a $400 brake system

AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID PROTECTANT -- 10 OZ. Review

(More customer reviews)I have a 2006 Honda Odyssey. I was informed at 75,000 miles I would need a new torque converter. I was getting a lot of shuddering which is a problem with Honda Odysseys. I read on a blog that if you change the transmission fluid and use DR Tranny Instant Shudder Fix and/or Lubegard ATF Protectant, products from the same company, it would remove the shudder. The bill was going to be $1,850 so I thought a $6 bottle of Dr Tranny Instant Shudder fix was worth a try. So I had the Honda dealer replace the fluid and noticed on the drive home the shudder was greatly reduced but not eliminated. After about 10 minutes of driving I put the Dr Tranny Instant Shudder Fix in and now the shudder is nearly gone. Once in a blue moon I get a slight shudder but it is so infrequent it is an after thought. About 2 weeks later I put in the Lubegard ATF Protectant, protectant made by the same company and I called the company and they told me the fluids could be mixed, because it provides long term wear protection and also shudder removal and the transmission is operating fantastic. No problems. It has been about a month now with no problems so I am very happy. I would highly recommend all car owners and Honda Odyssey owners give this fluid a try before getting a new torque converter.

Its on Aprilia Atlantic 500
it is a bit too big for it, so if that's your bike - get the smaller one
even though its bigger than it has to be - it fits quite well
there are 2 bungy cords and 2 corresponding grommets - in the middle and at the front wheel,
the thing came with a little backpack-like bag, i have not been using it so no comment there,
the fabric feels solid, sturdy.
Still easy enough to put on.
My previous cover was more expensive much thinner and got destroyed by sun/rain/storms in just over a year, this should last quite a bit longer,
it has vents on both sides - don't think they are important at all - just to compete on features, they don't get in the way so neutral on that.
All in all recommended.

Does the job great. from 0-120 psi takes about 13 minutes but it rarely has to do this it's primarily used to go from 90-120 psi and that takes about 3 minutes which is pretty good for a compressor that size.

Got to love Permatex products and this one is not exception, I've used this many times for lapping in valves on small engines to the big guns. The only problem I've ever had was when the tube is empty. :0)
For most of my specialty chemicals on the shelf from silicon to gasket remover there are all Permatex brand.
Permatex really makes some great products. Just make sure you've cleaned the valve guides, stems and seats really good before reassembly.

You need 8 ounces for car engine or transmission usage, and 3 ounces for power steering. I had to order again. I put the 8 ounces bottle into car engine and it helps alot. There is only an acceptable itsy bitsy leak left. The 8 ounces bottle is recommended !
